The most important part of fishing is indeed the fishing equipments and the accessories that are used during the fishing process. The basic equipments are found in all the general sports stores where the fishing sets are available containing all the required products.


Fishing bait is one requirement that is known to everyone, even those who do not have any interest in fishing. The fishing bait is more commonly of the earthworms and the crickets however they are sometimes also made up of the salmon eggs and the chicken livers. These baits can be easily collected at home also instead of buying from the stores.

Along with the bait is attached the barbed hook which one other necessary fishing equipment. These hooks are available in various different sizes and the smaller the number of the size the larger the hook is. The size of fishing hooks are kept to relate to the size of the fish that is to be caught.
There is a smaller line piece that is attached to the fishing hook which has a loop on the opposite side. This swivel is attached to the main fishing line’s end with the help of a small clip which holds the hook line’s loop securely. The swivel or the metallic cap helps the fisherman to remove the hook attached to the main line as quickly as possible after a catch. This also helps keeping the main fishing line intact and protected from the extreme twists and turns caused by the hooked fish.
The sinkers are equipment found just above the swivel. They are made up of the lead and are available in various, different sizes and shapes.
Then comes the most essential equipment for fishing which is a good fishing pole, to which the main fishing line is attached through eyelets for support.
